Today, before organization a birthday, corporate event or team building, many people first of all ask themselves the question “Is it okay to celebrate during a war?”…
Our answer is yes. But this “YES” is exactly a celebration without excess
Let’s figure out where the same limit is, and why you need to continue to live, without postponing for later, work and celebrate. To celebrate your special moments that are only here and now and at the same time to help ukranian army. Because this is our today’s mission and our reality.
The experience we have gained over two years of organizing events are practical cases that we want to share with you.
In June 2022, our regular clients approached us with a request to organize the Medical Worker’s Day. It was not even a celebration, but more of a warm working meeting, the purpose of which is to give employees positive emotions and impressions, and set them on the right emotional vector. To say that we were surprised by this request is an understatement. The beginning of the war. Not understanding what will happen today, tomorrow, next year. However, for us it was another sign that there are really brave people living in our brave country, people who look for the plus, not the minus – even when it seems that everything around is against it.
At the beginning of the event, the guests were gloomy and sad. It seems that everyone was in their own mood and thoughts, with direct uncertainty of what will happen next. As soon as the event began, smiles appeared on people’s faces and after the end, guests approached our team and said thank you for lifting the mood and emotional state at such a time.
After that, we realized that events and emotions restore people’s hope and faith in a bright future, give them the strength to support themselves and their loved ones. They make it possible to move forward and do what they can now – everyone in their place.
Around this time, under rocket fire, we organized birthday parties where we collected donations for the Armed Forces, bought cars, supported colleagues or loved ones.
Of course, it is important to approach the planning and organization of the event wisely and carefully, taking into account the difficult times, and always remember those who defend us and the state every day. But it is also important to listen to yourself and take care of your emotional state. Do you remember that first you put the mask on yourself, and then on the child? Because according to this principle, you will be able to do more – help more, contribute more, work more, thereby bringing our Victory closer!
